I am a hobby builder making ukuleles in my shed, almost entirely with hand tools. I aim to use sustainably sourced timber for all my instruments, focusing on the use of indigenous British woods.

Another day in the shed..
Laburnum fretboard planed to thickness, beautiful grain.
Removing wood from the neck block to receive the top.
Sides joined at the ends using a scrap of spanish cedar from the cigar box project.
